Our lab routinely collect exosomes/Evs from primary rat astrocytes. Using serum-free medium (SFM), incubating for 24 hours, and collecting by serial centrifugation/ultracentrifugation. Thank you very much. As what you respond, we consider that if we use SFM for primary cells, wthere the cells could survival? 24h or less? Later, I will try to compare SFM and EV-free serum.
Additionally, I want to collect the EVs through Life KIT, which did you think?
And, how much cell supernatant with how many cells did you use for collecting?
